The dual therapist session approach is designed to utilize techniques that can only be applied with two therapists working on a client at the same time. This approach has the potential to greatly increase the rate at which change occurs and therefore save money by expediting the results in fewer sessions. Many clients can benefit from dual therapy sessions because, with two therapists, we can work on different ends of the fascial system and the craniosacral system. This can allow for the ability to address more restrictions and do so more thoroughly.
We have both taken over a decade of MFR training that included multiple-therapist techniques and we have witnessed amazing results in our sessions with clients as well as our own personal healing journeys. Erin and I have both benefited greatly from receiving dual therapist sessions ourselves over the years and know first hand how it can provide a different level of experience that can often help shift us out of a plateau in the journey to wellness.
While it is rare to have access to two such highly skilled therapists (an opportunity for which most clients have to travel to John Barnes' MFR treatment centers), perhaps the most important aspect of our dual sessions is the healing space created in the connection between us, the two therapists, in conjunction with the connection with and the intention of the client. It is extremely powerful to have the intent of three people focused on the client's healing!
You are a good candidate for dual therapist sessions if:
- You want to jump start your treatment program
- You have limited time to come in for MFR sessions
- You have an acute problem that is affecting your daily life
- You have reached a plateau in your current treatment program and are not improving
- You want to save money on your MFR treatment program
